A Hospice Rooted in Blanchard
Odyssey Health Resources is a new, locally owned hospice care agency being built by nurses, for the families of Blanchard, Newcastle, Tuttle, and the surrounding communities.
We’re currently in the process of becoming licensed to serve Oklahoma families. Here’s what we’re building, and why.
Our Mission
Every family deserves end-of-life care that feels like it comes from a neighbor, not a call center. Odyssey Health Resources was founded to bring compassionate, dignified, evidence-based hospice care to the Tri-City area — care guided by advanced nursing leadership and grounded in the belief that dying at home, surrounded by family, should be peaceful, supported, and never rushed.
Why We’re Different
- Clinician-led, not corporate-led. Our clinical program is directed by a Doctor of Nursing Practice, so the standard of care here is set by a nurse who has dedicated her career to it — not a distant management company.
- Local, by design. We’re based right here in Blanchard. Our team will know your neighborhood, your local doctors, and your community — because we’re part of it too.
- Built for families first. We’re structuring this agency from day one around fast response times and real relationships with local clinics and hospitals, so families never feel stuck waiting on a phone tree during the hardest moments.
Serving the Tri-City Area
Once licensed, our care team will serve Blanchard, Newcastle, and Tuttle, along with the surrounding McClain, Cleveland, and Grady County communities — including families connected to Norman and the greater OKC metro area.
Where We Are Today
We’re currently working through Oklahoma’s state licensing process. It’s a deliberate, thorough process — as it should be, for something this important — and we’re using this time to build our clinical team, our partnerships with local physicians and clinics, and our home right here in Blanchard.
